TRB’s Pledge to Financial Literacy

The Regal Brand announced plans to launch a new division within the next 3-5 years. An already ambitious corporation with the idea of an ecosystem of companies all rooted in the same corporate values; there are presently seven announced divisions of The Regal Brand Corporation with only the Retail Division in operation through Holy Grail Clothing & Apparel Company. There are brands in the developmental pipeline from the Hospitality Division as well as an additional brand from the Retail Division but few details have been released about either. The Regal Brand CEO Myron Clark says he wants to educate the masses on financial literacy with this new project and will be launching a Financial Division complete with its first company as early as 2026 to do so. According to a study conducted by TIAA Institute-GFLEC Personal Finance Index in 2022 financial illiteracy is most prevalent in minority communities with a large percentage of most Americans instead suffering from “financial anxiety”.

“I want to create a place that will teach key financial elements, and provide stellar financial services to its clients.”, Myron says of the project mission. He envisions a place where those of all ages can gain financial independence through financial literacy with programs designed for different age groups meant to properly educate on a range of topics. The provision of paid financial literacy courses won’t be the only service future clients will be able to make use of, Myron says the future company will offer a range of financial based services that include tax preparation, credit repair, notary services as well as business and investment coaching.

Myron intends to provide these services where they are most desperately needed. The study conducted by the TIAA Institute-GFLEC Personal Finance Index discovered that among the African Americans questioned on financial literacy topics only 37% of the questions were answered correctly. Providing accessibility to Michigan municipalities that need these services will be key to the success of the project.
